Vegan chocolate cakes are delicious and popular. Making your own vegan chocolate cake is easy, and it tastes great. Popular vegan chocolate cakes are made from a mix, so you won't have to spend hours making this dessert. Instead, choose a fruity vegan chocolate cake recipe that makes your cake look and taste fantastic.

Vegan chocolate cakes are normally made from a base of flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking soda. Other ingredients that you can use include cashews, agave syrup and coconut milk. Some popular vegan chocolate cakes are vegan brownies, banana bread and vegan sour cream pound cake. No matter what you choose, the end result will be a delicious treat!

The best plant based chocolate cakes are pretty simple and easy to make, I promise!

Ingredients


This is the list of ingridients you'll need for the sponge cake part, but don't forget to "feel" the dough too! By feeling, I mean watch the texture, consistency, etc. However, if "feeling the dough" means zero to you - no judgement, just follow my steps! ;)

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 cup plant based yogurt

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (or scooped pod of fresh vanilla)


Directions


  1. Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased pan.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 45-50 min and voila.

  3. Decorate with melted dark chocolate and fresh cherries for an extra umph!

If no fresh berries or chocolate is available - no biggie. This amazing vegan chocolate cake is a perfection without any extra fuss on its' own, you'll see!
